TISSA STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH EPIC VALLEY

E Kunjungan TSF 3UUM ONLINE: Penang - The Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy (TISSA), remains committed to establishing close ties and strengthening cooperation with Epic Valley Holding Sdn. Bhd.

The effort was made evident by the courtesy visit that was paid by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) Prof. Ts Dr Shahimi Mohtar, along with the new line-up of key officials at TISSA-UUM to TISSA-UUM Adjunct Professor, Tan Sri Dr. Fng Ah Seng.

During a recent meeting held at the Office of Epic Valley Holding Sdn. Bhd., Prof. Ts Dr Shahimi, who represented UUM, expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support and dedication provided by Tan Sri Dr. Fng Ah Seng in ensuring the success of TISSA-UUM activities.

The purpose of the visit was to introduce the newly appointed Dean, Deputy Deans, and administrators at TISSA-UUM. Additionally, the agenda included discussions on the 'International Conference on Information System in Accounting and Business (ICISAB) 2023' programme, Techergolf, and the sponsorship of the Convocation Ceremony Prize, namely the Excellence Award and Holistic Graduate Award.

Meanwhile, Tan Sri Dr. Fng Ah Seng, the Managing Director of Epic Valley Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and Chairman of Yayasan Muhibah Tan Sri Fng Ah Seng expressed delight with the visit and acknowledged UUM's exceptional accomplishments.

He welcomed the proposals put forth and conveyed his commitment to assisting TISSA-UUM in ensuring the successful completion of the activities.

"UUM is a sparkling diamond, has a special relationship and is always close to my heart," he said.

He also shared tips and experiences with the delegation regarding challenges and strategies of effective leader.

In addition, he proposed that UUM could provide students with early opportunities to join companies, thereby enabling them to cultivate a CEO or entrepreneurial mindset from the very beginning of their academic pursuits.

Also present at the meeting were Prof. Dr Ram Al Jaffri Saad, Dean of TISSA; Assoc. Prof. Dr Norhani Aripin, Deputy Dean (Academic); Dr Dzarfan Abd. Qadir, Deputy Dean (Student Affairs); and Assoc. Prof. Dr Raja Haslinda Raja Mohd Ali, Deputy Dean (Research and Innovation).
